ABOUT ME

Jordan Gunn is a New York-bRED, New Jersey-shaped & Los Angeles-raised multi-hypHenate.

He’s also a major nerd. Like maaaajor. …If that wasn’t obvious by the SpongeBob hat.

At four years old, his dad took him to see this small indie film … Favreau’s Iron Man. Between seeing comics come to life, RDJ’s performance as Tony Stark and the introduction of Samuel L. Jackson (fav actor of all time) as Nick Fury, he was sold. Over the years, Jordan’s love for acting would grow separate from his fandom, taking on roles in shows such as Animal Farm, A Chorus Line and Rent in his adolescence at Crossroads School for Arts & Sciences, with additional weekend training at industry acting coach Gary Spatz’ The Playground.

Now, Jordan attends NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts (BFA ‘26), majoring in Drama with minors in Producing & Business of Entertainment, Media and Technology. During his studies, he’s received further acting, voice/dialect and movement training from Atlantic Acting School and the Experimental Theatre Wing.

Jordan currently develops original scripted projects for film, TV and stage while pursuing opportunities in film and TV development… all in effort to give young kids of color the opportunity to see themselves properly reflected in media.

Not through a stereotyped generalized lens…

But as themselves, first and foremost.
